ORCH-Day168 (To Michelle Kwan)

The announcement was made with much sadness.

Michelle Kwan is one of the greatest ice skaters in the history of the world. There is nothing more rewarding than the sharing of ChampionPerformance in HumanCompetativePerformances.

Michelle gave us all that, and more.

Whatever circumstances led to her withdrawal from the Olympics, is therefore not an 'closed book,' but an OPEN CHAPTER in outstanding human achievement.

I was very disappointed when she withdrew. I have to say I've been sad and blue ever since. HumanCompetativePerformance is the MOST outstanding thing that all of humanity has going ON.

But then I had an epiphanic-moment, and realized I was being selfish, expecting more when I have no right to expect anything AT ALL. I realized how thankful I am for EVERY SECOND of her participation in sharing.

It's not about the medals. It's not about spotlights. It's not about score-cards.

She's all THAT and MORE.

Who could not love that?

There is the 'other issue,' however, which should not be ignored: institutionalized HATE within the establishment, made manifest in subtle ways. I'm talking about DISCRIMINATION against Japan's Mao Asada for AGE, and, ANATOMICAL DIFFERENCES DISCRIMINATION, and how wrong it is, and how much it is an PROMISE of future accidents and injuries, even deaths.

Because of GenerationalGravityGain, accidents are more frequent, and by constantly raising the bar for 'standards of excellence,' more injuries and deaths result. We're talking about millions of future kids, that are OUTSTANDING PERFORMERS but 'only' capable of performing an 'double', injured or killed attempting to do an 'triple' or 'quad.'

And there's only about 3 people on the planet that can do THAT.

Meanwhile, hundreds WILL die trying, thousands will suffer concusions and permanent disabilities, and millions will get breaks and sprains, to such a degree that they will NEVER perform again.

I can't speak for Michelle, but such thoughts are ON ALL OUR MINDS.

Regarding MEDIA COVERAGE of the shooting ...

I'm very disappointed in the media coverage regarding the Vice President and Whittington.

It's NOT funny. It's not something to be 'made light' of. This just reinforces the ridiculous notion that guns are 'safe' and 'fun' and makes kids think they are INVINCIBLE, capable of 'mowing-down' the 'opposition' with only 'mild flesh wounds' to themselves.

ALL USE OF FIREARMS IS VERY SERIOUS STUFF.

I don't care if you are a comedian or not -- hating Mr. Cheney by subtly joking about 'the worst day in his life,' is GROSS and WRONG.

I'm ashamed of you comedians. I'm ashamed of the 'light story' reportage in the so-called 'news'.

Please do BETTER.
